Certification – File Retrieval – Duplicate License
The Board provides the following services to future and current New Mexico attorneys. Certification, file retrieval, and duplicate licenses may be requested only by the applicant or attorney named in the file. Requests may be made online here.
Certification
Cost: $20 per document (can be combined into a single document)
- Application certification. This is a document that certifies the date and status of your application. This document does not include a copy of your application.
- Admission certification. This is a document that certifies the date and status of your admission. This is not a Certificate of Good Standing or Disciplinary History.
- Bar examination application date
- Bar examination passage date

- MBE score
- Request Certification
File retrieval/copy of the past application
- Cost: $100
- These records are held in a secure storage facility and will take several weeks to retrieve
- Please note that a copy of the applicant file will only include items provided directly by the applicant and will not include documents provided to the Board by an outside party or agency

Duplicate Wall License
- Cost: $35 per duplicate license

CLE Certificate
- Cost: $100
If you are currently licensed in a state other than New Mexico, or you are licensed in New Mexico but seeking reinstatement, you may use the link below to purchase a CLE-compliant Certificate of Completion for your viewing of the New Mexico Law Class. Please ensure that the New Mexico Law Class will be approved for CLE credit by your state CLE authority as we will not issue refunds. If you are not yet licensed in New Mexico, you may not earn CLE credits for the New Mexico Law Class. You do not need to purchase a Certificate if you do not intend on seeking CLE credit as the class itself is currently free.
Bar Examination MEE/MPT Answers
Cost: $15.00 for all MPT and MEE Answers for the requesting applicant
Available only up until the sixtieth (60th) day after Bar Examination Results are posted.
