Qualifying Employer

This application type applies to licensed attorneys working for a government entity or approved legal services provider.

Military Spouse

This application type applies to licensed attorneys who are the spouse of a military member who is or will be stationed in New Mexico.

Law Professor

This application type applies to law professors working for the University of New Mexico who do not otherwise have a New Mexico law license.

In-House Counsel 

This application type applies to licensed attorneys who are working for one employer in an in-house capacity.

About New Mexico Bar Limited License Admissions

Limited License applications are for attorneys licensed outside of New Mexico working with an approved government or legal service agency, for military spouses, in-house counsel attorneys, or law professors.
